There are many and different ways to get the tile grout dirty. Mildew and mold are usually causing stains and they mostly appear in bathrooms. The pressure that the steam cleaner creates can loosen stains and remains that other cleaners alone can not dissolve.

If you still have problems with your grout, you can try using some commercial grout and tile cleaners. You can find those items everywhere where they sell cleaning products for home. It is better if you find a cleaner that has balanced pH – in that way you can avoid the possibility of the chemicals to erode the grout after regular usage. If you want to get a good result from a commercial cleaner, after you spray it on the surface you have to let it react with it for few minutes before you start scrubbing. In order to clean as effectively as possible you have to follow the instructions written on the product.

For resistant stains a person has to use even stronger products such as chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or oxygen bleach powder. You just have to remember that these products have to be diluted very well before you start to use them. You can find these kinds of cleaners also in janitorial supply outlets or hardware stores. Although, if you have to choose these cleaners, you have to make sure that you read the putted labels on them very cautiously and follow the instructions to the letter.
